CATIA thinks a new document is an old document

Problem: A user has proformed a "New From" on a document in CATIA. Although, when the document is checked in it 
fails because WGM thinks the new document is the old document. 

Backgound: This problem stems from that fact that occasionaly when a new-from is performed the windchill
paramiters where not removed, eather by fault of the user or system. Therefore when you try to check the 
document back into windchill the new document is reconized as the old.

Solution:
Open up the document's Paramiters [F(x)] Button 
Delete all existing Paramiters
add two new paramiters as "Strings"

SP:DOC_NAME <NAME IN WINDCHILL>
SP:DOC_NR   <NUMBER IN WINDCHILL>

after all other paramaiters have been removed from the document and these two added
the document should check into windchill properly
